I use this a couple of times a day. Works great. I keep it in the dishwasher, so it goes through that cycle daily. It's about two years old and looks brand new.

I hate wasting energy. I don't know if its that I am an engineer or the way I was raised, but pouring near boiling water down the drain just irks me.

So the idea that I could put pasta, veggies, or w/e into this and drop it into hot water, then drain back into the pot, and use the water for the next side dish sold me.

There was just one problem I didn't consider: depth. The pot I have that fits the size is about 1in deeper than this colander so I can't make as much as I want. So keep depth in mind or be disappointed.

I am certainly not a coffee snob. To me, making drip coffee seems like a simple process. . .just cause hot water to flow through the ground coffee. And even the cheapest coffeemakers I have tried were able to do this. The problems I have had with other machines have to do with what happens to the coffee after it is made. Some machines don't consistently release the valve that stops the flow when you remove the carafe holding the coffee in the basket. One experience with coffee flowing all over the counter top and that coffeemaker is trash. I want the coffee to be hot when I pour it. I don't want to have to put the cup of fresh poured coffee in the microwave to heat it to the right temperature. And the third problem I have had is pouring the coffee out of the carafe without making a mess. The B&D Smartbrew has none of these problems. No problem with the valve. The coffee in the carafe is hot, and it pours GREAT. The carafe is shaped kind of like a pitcher with a long lip. I love this thing. The only negative is it shuts off after 2 hours and I am sometimes not finished with the coffee. (but I don't have any more black, scorched pots in the morning because I forgot to turn it off.)

Coffee maker does well except for one major item! When pouring into cup, the pot seems to leak onto counter almost as much as what goes in the cup! Unless you pour it at the rate of taking about 15 seconds per cup.

Great for the price. The disc cones are ideal temporary markers in low-wind conditions. They are highly visible. Unlike cones, they are not constantly knocked down or blown over. The yellow and orange disc cones are vitually flourescent in outdoor light.

However, they are so thin and light they can easily be blown away by a moderate gusty wind, particularly on grass. Although crushproof and safe, the slightest impact will skid them out of position. They could be held in place with stakes, but the stakes would be safety hazzards for sports activities. On the otherhand, the disc-cones would be ideal as temporary safety warnings to mark the position of stakes, sprinkler heads, or other hazzards.

Although the colors are very bright and bold, the pigment is not dense. Although visible only closeup, some patches are nearly transparent. After two months, yellow markers exposed to direct sunlight were still yellow, but the orange markers were completely washed out with no orange pigment at all.

I purchased the markers for semi-permanent trail markers for which they are serviceable, but less than ideal. I would have prefered disc-cones at least twice the weight with denser pigment

I ordered a quantity of two of this product. I ordered from VolumeNutrition as it was cheaper than Amazon's price for this product. The problem was when I received my package it should have been 12 bottles (2 packs of 6), while it was only 11 bottles. I contacted VolumeNutrition via email about this and they sent me the missing bottle, and one extra for the inconvenience.

That is professional customer service from VolumeNutrition, and I would order again from them.

I use this product almost every day. I wouldn't say I have noticed any significant weight loss, but it does help reduce appetite. I take 2 with a full glass of water before a meal. You do need to drink a lot of water to keep from getting constipated though!
