I recently purchased an optical USB wireless mouse as part of a package deal including a very basic Laptop carry case and a 4 port USB mini hub. A Swiss Gear Product, purchased at SAM's Club. I plugged it into my DELL inspiron 1420 LapTop, running Windows Vista. It recognized the new USB hardware, and the mouse movement began to work. Seems to work ok, except the wheel will only move up on a web page, it will not move down??? I went to their website, but could find no reference to a mouse or mouse driver. Anyone have any ideas? Also, I noticed that regularly, the mouse pointer stops moving and you must click the left mouse button in order to reset the mouse. It will then function fine for a while. Other than that, it seems to work pretty good. However, pretty good can be quite aggravating for a mouse...

This mouse connector destroys USB ports.
It has torn out the connectors on 2 of the 3 USB ports I have on my Laptop

Intially this mouse worked perfectly. After a while I had to click the mouse everytime I needed to use the laptop to get it to work. It progressively got worst with me having to reconnect the mouse to the laptop. Now it doesn't work period. I changed the battery and tried to reconnect without success. Very strange considering the quality of swiss gear backpacks and luggage, I guess we should stay away from their electronics.
